Congratulations to all the 2024 Teacher of the Year Nominees! This year, 74 members were nominated by colleagues, students, and parents.

SLPTU Members celebrating the new contract.

On November 14th, members of SLPTU met at the parking lot of the District Services Center to rally around reaching a tentative contract agreement.

Members of SLPHS, Westwood Complex, and Park Terrace made signs for the Negotiations Committee to show our support for all their hard work. Thanks, Negotiations Team!

As a thank you for being a member of SLPTU, each member received a Welcome Back gift including a branded mug, key card, and vinyl sticker.

As a kickoff to Negotiations, SLPTU provided coffee and a Grab 'N' Go Breakfast for all members in early May. A QR code was available to start taking the survey before it was emailed out. The Committee was able to use the data gathered from that survey to help steer contract negotiations.

Thanks to an Organizing for Settlement Grant, SLPTU was able to provide all members with a newly rebranded Spring Lake Park Teachers United t-shirt and a credit towards a 1/4 zip.
